You have been asking me for a neutral tank top for a few years now. Here you go!
This is the most popular and versatile item of knitwear I have ever made or worn or sold. I don’t know why tank tops / sweater vests ever went out of fashion, they are so useful.
Dress them up or down and wear them all year round for both smart or slouchy occasions or just use them for layering when it’s cold.
Made from British wool, they are lightweight and brilliant for layering.
As they are made to order I can’t accept returns so please be sure you really want one if you do order.
Lead time: 4 - 6 weeks.
Sizing: two sizes, M and L. I am a 10/12 on top and I wear the M, which will fit sizes 8-14 (generous on a size 8 and fitted on a 14).
Measurements:
Medium
Armpit to armpit: approx 50cm
Shoulder to hem: approx 55cm
Large
Armpit to armpit: approx 54cm
Shoulder to hem: approx 61cm
Sizing tips:
I am 5'7, with hips. A size 12, wearing a M (I want it to sit above my hips). If I was taller and had narrower hips I might wear the ML too as an oversized look. Depends on your shape and style.
If you aren't sure, find a jumper you have that you like and know suits your body shape, lay it down on a flat surface and measure armpit to armpit and shoulder to hem and see how it compares to the measurements above.
